【摘要】:1.1Strayradiantpower(SRP)canbeasignificantsourceoferrorinspectrophotometricmeasurements,andthedangerthatsucherrorexistsisenhancedbecauseitspresenceoftenisnotsuspected().Thistestmethodaffordsanestimateoftherelativeradiantpower,thatis,theStrayRadiantPowerRatio(SRPR),atwavelengthsremotefromthoseofthenominalbandpasstransmittedthroughthemonochromatorofanabsorptionspectrophotometer.Test-filtermaterialsaredescribedthatdiscriminatebetweenthedesiredwavelengthsandthosethatcontributemosttoSRPforconventionalcommercialspectrophotometersusedintheultraviolet,thevisible,thenearinfrared,andthemid-infraredranges.Theseproceduresapplytoinstrumentsofconventionaldesign,withusualsources,detectors,includingarraydetectors,andopticalarrangements.Thevacuumultravioletandthefarinfraredpresentspecialproblemsthatarenotdiscussedherein.Note1Research()hasshownthatparticularcaremustbeexercisedintestinggratingspectrophotometersthatusemoderatelynarrowbandpassSRP-blockingfilters.Accuratecalibrationofthewavelengthscaleiscriticalwhentestingsuchinstruments.RefertoPracticeE275.1.2Theseproceduresareneitherall-inclusivenorinfallible.
